In Kazakhstan,domestic violence has always been a taboo topic and othen, victims, almost never could be protected from abuser. More than that, since year 2020 , domestic violence is decriminalized and most of the times punishment is small fine or 15 days of arrest. And now, during quarantine times, victims are even more fulnurable and in danger than they have ever been. statistically , each year in kazakhstan 400 womn die due to domestic violence,this year this number can go drastically up. with this petition, i want to bring spotlight to this major problem.
